What A Wonderful Surprise!
Yesterday was our trip to Upper Canada Village. It was an amazing trip and later today I will be back to show some photo's of it.
But, before that, I just have to say thank you and welcome to all my wonderful new followers! I came home to quite a few new friends! Isn't that fantastic? So, a hearty welcome to all of you! I hope you find my blog interesting and somewhere you would like to visit often. :)
There was another surprist waiting for us when we got home yesterday.
There are six adorable little grey kittens. I just knew she was waiting for all of us to leave for a few hours to have them.
Some of you already know, but for those that don't, Mama cat, Lucy, showed up on our doorstep about a month and a half ago. I was feeding her outside while I looked for her owner, as she was obviously a pet. Eventually, I realized she was pregnant, so in her best interests and the kittens, I brought her inside earlier this week, since her real owner didn't show up. I couldn't have the kittens outside in danger of predation and disease. Not to mention that I didn't want an entire litter of kittens turning feral on me, I'd never find homes for all of them! So, in Lucy came.
Now we have a litter of gorgeous little grey babies. I can't believe their all grey! I thought for sure there would be a variety of colours, but no, they all look like Mama.
Here are a couple of pics we took last night when we got home and found them. Behind my washing machine of all places!!
Aren't they just the cutest?? I just love the little guy with the white nose. He looks like one of our other cats, Oscar. If I didn't know better, I'd say that Oscar was the daddy, but that's not possible.
Oh, and before I go, one last photo. I haven't had a chance to get online to post photo's of my son's new braces! He's so happy and proud, although very sore. :)
Before....
And after....
As I said, I'll be back later today to share photo's from our journey back in time. See you then!
